First of all:
I AM SO PROUD OF OUR COUNTRY!! WE DID IT!!!!!! I LOOK TO THE FUTURE LIKE I LOOK AT BABY PANDAS; WITH HOPE, LOVE, AND VICTORY.
Second of all:
You know when it's cold outside and you take a hot bath and then you put your clothes on and your skin feels tight and weird under them? That's what I'm experiencing at this time.
In other news, I find myself in Canada once more. I'm not going to lie, I love it here, it's snowing, there are little black squirrels everywhere. Little black squirrels, I say! Yesterday I made a kissy noise at one of them and it SCAMPERED to me like a kitty cat. Can you handle that? I could barely. Life was so warm and fluffy at that moment I could have barfed snowglobes and candlelight.
Hopefully all of you people are happy out there, reading this, why? I appreciate it. What am I talking about...my brain has ceased to function, it has deserted me to go drink maple coffee or whatever brains do here.
YES
Kat
I can't be happy, silly.

i don't think i could've handled the squirrel bouncing towards me....I defenitely woulda squeaked because of joy and cuteness.
i suggest joining your brain in the drinking of maple coffee.

>.> Everyone thinks the snow here is so pretty...guess it depends where you are. Here in Alberta it can get real cold and the snow becomes an enemy you can't wait to see melt. At Least I'll be moving to Vancouver in July it will be warmer there. Have fun while you're in Canada though theres always stuff to do ^.^

I am proud of this nation, too. Not just because I think it was great Obama won, but because of the absolute record numbers of people showing up to the polling places. People went and made their voices be heard.

You're cute.

LIKE A KITTY CAT!!? I'm so jealous. I'm from Texas and squirrels have to live in fear here because there are people who are horrible and eat them. :( Did you get to touch it? Aww bushy tails!

Where exactly are you in Canada? Canada is a big country - Ontario right now has got a case of the mondays. IE: Sleet/Snow. Horrid to walk in, but when you live here, you don't really mind... odd.
Have fun up here :)

Oh, and just in case your wondering, we drink normal coffee up here. Starbucks is popular, but Tim Hortons is a Canadian tradition. Go there and get one :)

Hi Kat,
Be proud of the country while there is still one.
We're about to spend half of last year's GDP on bailouts. No end in sight to massive deficits.
America will be bankrupt by 2020.
You do know what happens when a country goes bankrupt, right?

Baby Pandas make you think of Victory? Very curious.
I to am ecstatic that our great nation has stood up and said "No More!" It gives me hope that our country may not being going the way of the Romans quite as fast as it seemed for the last 8 years. I was sorry to hear that Prop 8 got passed in your state but it sounds like the LGBTQ community and it's supporters are giving hell to the powerful and corrupt bastards that made it happen. Go them!

Its amazing you can think of politics when there are such natural wonders as scampering squirels to distract you. Sicko made me take a second look at Canada, but maple coffee has sold me. And if those ads are truthful, when a country goes bankrupt, it calls ameridebt, and all its money problems melt away! So really we have nothing to worry about.

I live in Canada. It is rather cold. And snowy. *shivers*
On a side note, I watched Charlie over the weekend, much to the dismay of my stepbrother, who wanted to see it first. :D

Are you in Toronto? I live there! If so, hope you are enjoying this fine city of ours. I second the Tim Horton's suggestion. Ask for a "double, double" (they'll know what you mean) -Canadian comfort at its best! :)

We have the little black squirrels in DC too. I call them NINJA SQUIRRELS.

vive le Canada! I live in Windsor, ON, which is one of the most south places in Canada. (Leamington being the most southern area.. which is around 45 mins from Windsor) We don't have snow here yet. Southern Ontario is called the 'banana belt' because of our tropic like weather... lol....true story.
Watch out for those squirrels--they aren't all cute!

Apparently the Squirrels in Canada are nice and friendly. I'm used the squirrels in Berkeley which quite frankly are pretty militant. Unless your pretty brave and strong you should be sure to bring food for passage thru thier area, because they will demand tribute. I know of several people who have undergone attack...

i always laugh when people get exited about our infamous "black squirrels"

Loving Canada is a perfectly cromulent reaction.

Ha, the squirrel thing made me laugh. My experiences deal with swerving on the road and having one mug me in the middle of campus.
